Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali steps into restaurant business with Postik

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurvedic Limited has reportedly stepped into the restaurant business by opening its first 100 % vegetarian restaurant, Postik restaurant, in Zirakpur in Chandigarh.

The menu card and walls of the restaurant reportedly carried the image of Baba Ramdev and Balkrishna, co-founder of Patanjali Ayurvedic Limited. The menu card also displays health tips for customers.

According to data from the Registrar of Companies, the Directors of Postik Restaurant Private Limited are Rajpal Singh and Jaspal Singh Sembhi, The Indian Express reported.

Patanjali Ayurvedic Limited is a multi-crore business entity, which mainly focused on marketing ayurvedic products and yoga. With revenue of more than $780 million, Patanjali sells everything from herbal toothpastes and cosmetics to noodles and jams.
