Devoleena was cast overnight as the female lead Gopi Modi in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya after Giaa Manek, who played the role earlier, was shown the door owning to a controversy.
Devoleena got into a catfight with actress Lovey Sasan who played the role of Paridhi in the serial. She was said to be insecure with the Lovey’s entrance in the show. Also, she got into an argument with another co-star from the same show, Vishal Singh.
The actress has undergone a glam transformation from Bahu to Babe. Devoleena has said to shed her inhibitions with this transformation.
