Along with the BB 14 trophy, Rubina also won Rs 36 lakh cash prize. Now, as per the reports in TOI, the Shakti actor is going to use her winning amount for a social cause.
She is planning to provide electricity to the people of her village in Shimla.
Rubina Dilaik was constantly seen promoting her Himachali culture and traditions in the Bigg Boss 14 house as well. Promoting the ‘Nati’ dance, she made other finalists perform the dance form during the last week.
Recently, the TV actor also shared a video where she can be seen doing ‘Nati’ dance along with her husband Abhinav Shukla.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Rubina revealed about her financial crunch during her debut show ‘Choti Bahu’. She said, “I even played double roles in harsh conditions, yet I wasn’t paid my dues for the last three months, which were in lakhs. For nine months, I pleaded for my money, went to the actors association for help, but no one cared or helped apart from making big fancy promises. I had to sell off my house and property because I couldn’t pay off my EMIs. After crying my heart out, the production house finally called me up for negotiation.”
