BMW has launched the 3 Series Gran Turismo ‘Shadow Edition’ for Rs 42.50 lakh ex-showroom (India). Bookings for the new luxury tourer have commenced from today at the company dealerships as well as the official website.

Based on the 330i, the 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition will use the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol engine which comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The engine generates 252hp, maximum torque of 350Nm and it can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 6.1 seconds.

On the inside, the Shadow Edition comes with aluminum door sill plates, key with M logo, M sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof. The kidney grille features nine slats in high-gloss black and the dark shadow elements further extend towards the LED headlights and taillights.

The BMW ConnectedDrive features BMW iDrive (the on-board Driver Information system) with 8.8in display, touch functionality based BMW navigation system professional with 3D maps, BMW apps, Park Distance Control (PDC), a rearview camera, Apple CarPlay, connectivity through Bluetooth and USB/AUX-IN connectivity.

The key safety features on the new luxury tourer include six airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Side-impact Protection, electronic vehicle immobiliser, and more.

The special edition model is based on the brand’s 330i M Sport and will be offered in four different paint schemes: Alpine White, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, and Estoril Blue.
