Casio Edifice EFK-200 Automatic Watches: Casio has officially expanded its premium EDIFICE lineup with the release of five new EFK-200 automatic mechanical watches. It refined styling, inspired by luxury sports cars and that whole precision engineering vibe. It was announced on June 30, 2026 and the newest collection mixes Japanese mechanical watchmaking with the automotive-focused design mindset that’s been the core of EDIFICE.
This comes right after really strong global interest in Casio’s first automatic EDIFICE, the EFK-100. That one reportedly sold out in several markets pretty fast after its debut. Now the EFK-200 series tries to build on that momentum, with better finishing, smaller dimensions, premium materials and a few different dial options.
The lineup includes five models:
Casio says each version is built around the EDIFICE idea of “Speed & Intelligence,” and it pulls inspiration from flowing curves, premium finishes, and that engineering precision you’d expect from high-performance automobiles.
One of the standout changes is the redesigned case, it uses separate mirror polishing and hairline polishing techniques. Basically the rounded cushion-shaped bezel, the gently curved lugs and the polished surfaces, all work together so reflections can shift depending on your viewing angle.
The headline model, the EFK-200XPB-1A, goes a step further by using forged carbon on both the case AND the dial, which is a lightweight, high-strength material you usually see in high-end sports cars and aerospace. Meanwhile, the EFK-200CD-1A features a forged carbon dial paired with a stainless-steel case.
Powering every EFK-200 watch is a Made-in-Japan automatic mechanical movement supporting manual winding. Key specifications include:
