CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the Class 12 supplementary exam results very soon. The board hasn’t told the exact date yet, but students are hoping that the results will be out in just a few days. This year, the supplementary exam for Class 12 was held on July 15, and now everyone is eagerly waiting. Looking at how CBSE has declared results in the past few years, it’s likely that the result will come out in the first week of August 2025.

In 2024, CBSE declared the Class 12 supplementary result on August 2, and in 2023, it was announced on August 1. Many people now think the board is trying to follow a pattern. Just like how they released the main Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 13 this year, same as last year, it’s possible they are planning to set August 1 as a fixed date for the supplementary result too. That’s why there is a strong chance that the Class 12 supplementary scores may be announced on August 1, 2025.

Last Year’s Stats

Last year in 2024, around 1,31,396 students had registered for the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams. Out of them, 1,27,437 students actually appeared for the exam. Among them, only 37,957 passed the test. The pass percentage was just 29.78%, which means nearly 70% of the students didn’t clear it.

New Grading System

From the academic year 2024–25, CBSE has started using a btarted using a brand-new grading system called ‘Relative Grading’. Earlier, students got grades based on fixed marks. For example, if someone scored between 91 and 100, they would get A1, and 81 to 90 meant A2.

But now the board has changed this rule. In the new system, a student’s grade will depend on how others in the same subject performed. So instead of getting a grade based only on marks, the system now compares scores of all students and then gives grades accordingly. This change hopes to reduce stress on students and stop unhealthy competition.
