CBSE Re-evaluation Process 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has brought a major change in how students can raise complaints about their marks after the board declares results for Class 10 and 12. Now, students will get a copy of their evaluated answer sheet first. Only after that, they can apply for mark verification or reevaluation.

This update was shared by CBSE through an official letter to all school heads and principals. The board has clearly mentioned that it already has a strong post-result process that helps students who are not satisfied with their marks.

According to the new rule, the first step is for students to apply to get a photocopy of their checked answer sheet. This means they can actually see how their paper was marked, which comments were given, how many marks were given, and if any question was missed by mistake. Once they go through their answer sheet, then they can choose what to do next.

a student now can either apply for checking if marks were added correctly (which is called verification of marks), or they can ask for a full re-evaluation if they think the marks given for any answer are not fair. They can even apply for both, but they can do this only after getting the photocopy of their answer sheet.
