New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced that the ‘Viksit Delhi’ Budget 2025-26 will be presented between March 24 and 26 in the Delhi Assembly. In a bid to make the budget more inclusive, the Delhi government is seeking public suggestions to shape its policies.

During a press conference on Monday, CM Gupta emphasized that the budget will focus on Delhi’s holistic development, incorporating inputs from all sections of society.

Key Focus Areas of ‘Viksit Delhi’ Budget

The budget will align with BJP’s manifesto and prioritize:
✔ Financial assistance for women
✔ Expansion of health services
✔ Public transport improvements
✔ Pollution reduction measures
✔ Yamuna River cleanup
✔ Employment generation
✔ Welfare of senior citizens

More such meetings will be held to engage with different communities and stakeholders, ensuring that the budget truly reflects the needs of Delhi’s citizens.

CM Gupta assured that public input will be integrated into the budget framework, making it a “people’s budget” aimed at addressing Delhi’s key challenges while fostering growth and development.
