The major opposition party in Gujarat, Congress has launched preparations for the parliamentary elections scheduled next year (2019) by appointing new office-bearers and executive committee for Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee. Gujarat Congress President Amit Chavda has been seen preparing for the upcoming battle and the latest list is a step for building the core team of Congress in the state, sources claimed. The by-polls are also slated for January 2018 at Jasdan assembly constituency in Gujarat.
The list includes eminent leaders Jagdish Thakor, Somabhai Patel, Lakhabhai Bharvad and many more as Vice-Presidents.
