Bulandshahr: The whole country has been turbulent with soaring coronavirus cases. But amidst such turbulence, we see little sights of religious harmony and communal harmony between different communities. In Bulandshahr a deceased man had no relatives to carry and take him to the funeral pyre, the local Muslims assisted the deceased and carried the man to his funeral grounds.

Ravi Shankar a poor man living in Anand Vihar, Bulandshahr died on Saturday.

Due to coronavirus lockdown, there were no relatives present to take him on his death bed to funeral grounds. Thankfully, Ravi Shankar’s locality was filled with Muslims. The Muslims along with Ravi Shankar’s son carried the deceased man to the crematorium.

Ravi Shankar’s son sent messages to relatives, friends and the father’s death in the neighbourhood but none arrived due to the lockdown.

The death of Ravi Shankar further aggravated the unhappy family. There was no one to shoulder the bier and to carry the corpse to the crematorium.

Seeing the plight of the son the Muslims prepared the brief and assisted the body to be taken to a crematorium where the home man Ravi Shankar can rest in peace.
