In a shocking incident, Mumbai-based cricketer passed away after suffering a heart-attack on the field while playing a local cricket match on Sunday.
The incident took place in the eastern city area of the financial capital’s Bhandup area where tennis ball cricket tournament was organised. Amid the match, the 24-year old complained about the chest pain which caused him severe uneasiness.
Soon Kesarkar was taken to the nearby hospital for examination. While being treated, he was declared dead after the check-up. Apparently, Kesarkar continued to bat despite the chest pain and severe discomfort.
Kesarkar used to represent various teams while playing local cricket tournaments. He was hailed as one of the brightest talents in the local Mumbai cricketing circles. He belonged to an underprivileged background where his family used to struggle every day to make their ends meet.
