CSAB 2023 Special Round 1 Result: Today, August 8, the Central Seat Allocation Board will announce the results of CSAB special round 1. The examination is used to cover vacancies in prestigious institutions such as the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and the Government-funded Technical Institutes (GIFTs). The selected candidates have until August 12 to’surrender’ or ‘withdraw’ their admission. Conversely, students who did not obtain a seat in the special round may exit the CSAB counselling procedure.
The selected candidates must complete the online reporting procedure, pay the admission fees, upload all required documents, and respond to any questions between August 8 and August 12. Before 5 p.m. on August 12, every question raised by an institution must be resolved. In addition, students must report to their assigned institution between August 14 and August 21. On August 13, the outcomes of the third special round of CSAB are expected to be announced.
During 2023 CSAB special counselling, the chosen students have five options. They are permitted to ‘freeze,”slide,’ ‘float,”surrender,’ or ‘withdraw’ their candidature. If a student chooses to ‘pause’ their candidature, it indicates that they are satisfied with the programme and institution they have been assigned. If they choose the ‘Slide’ option, students can subsequently switch to a better programme based on vacancies in their assigned institution. The candidates who choose the’surrender’ option are eligible for CSAB special round 2. Those who choose ‘withdraw’, on the other hand, forfeit the assigned seat and are eliminated from the second round of counselling.
The CSAB’s special rounds aid applicants in making an informed admissions decision to the finest available institution.
