The much-anticipated sequel, ‘Chhorii 2’, starring Nushrratt Bharuccha, is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on April 11. This announcement has sparked excitement among fans as the film promises to deliver an even darker and more intense experience than its predecessor.
Building on the acclaim of the first film, which was a remake of Furia’s 2017 Marathi horror classic ‘Lapachhapi’, ‘Chhorii 2’ delves deeper into the harrowing journey of its protagonist, a pregnant woman haunted by malevolent spirits. Soha Ali Khan joins the cast, adding a fresh dimension to this chilling narrative.
According to Manish Menghani of Prime Video, the sequel aims to enhance the creative vision of the franchise. Producer Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment highlighted the film’s promise of more twists and a more personal battle for survival, indicating a gripping continuation of the horror saga. The film is collaboratively produced by T-Series, Crypt TV, and Abundantia Entertainment.
