Day 18 Box Office Collection of Mission: Impossible 7: In spite of fierce competition from Barbie and Oppenheimer, Mission: Impossible 7 is performing well at the box office. While the new release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is performing quite well and last week’s Hollywood double feature of Oppenheimer and Barbie did wonders, it is the holdover release Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One that is attracting decent crowds. Even though the film is in its third week, with limited exhibiting on most premium screens, it is still grossing well over 1 crore rupees, and it shows no signs of disappearing.
This was demonstrated again on Saturday, when 1.50 crores* were received. Even as a stand-alone film, Mission: Impossible 7’s figures would have been impressive, considering this is the third week in a row, and the film starring Tom Cruise is managing to do so despite competition from three directions. The film has already grossed 107.50 crores* after its first two weeks of release, which is approximately 5 crores more than what was initially reported.
There is still a massive Sunday to come, and while the 2 crores mark will undoubtedly be surpassed, 110 crores will be reached during the weekend itself if it reaches 2.50 crores. The film is a major box office triumph and marks Tom Cruise’s second success in India within a year, following Top Gun: Maverick.
