Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Eligibility: The Delhi government has approved the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana. Under this plan, eligible women will get monthly financial help. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “The Delhi Lakshmi Yojana has been approved by the cabinet, and the portal for this will be launched on August 1,”. She also said the government hopes to give the first instalment by Raksha Bandhan after the applications are checked.
The scheme gives women ₹2,500 every month in total, but the money will not come in full cash. According to the plan, only ₹1,000 will be available right away. The other ₹1,500 will go into a recurring deposit account. This RD will stay locked for three years. After that, the saved amount and the interest will be paid into the woman’s bank account. Officials said this savings part is meant to help women build a small safety cushion for the future.
