Delhi University will not conduct examinations for the intermediate semester students – for UG or PG courses. In the latest notice, the university released the guidelines for the grading and scoring of the students of UG, PG courses for intermediate (2nd, 4th, 6th -for 4 year course) semester students. The guidelines have also been shared for students of School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).
According to the notice on du.ac.in, the university will hold the final year examinations as per the July 2020 schedule.
However, due to the uncertain conditions, the university decided not to hold the exam, but to grade the students’ intermediate (second and fourth) based on internal evaluation, assignment submissions, and previous year’s results.

DU has cleared that it will be adopting alternative measures of grading and scoring keeping the UGC Guidelines in mind and awarding the students on the basis of their performance in previous year/ semesters and on the internal evaluation conducted by the respective colleges.

Moreover, guidelines for UG Students (Annual Mode) including SOL and NCWEB & 2nd Semester PG students are mentioned in the notification. Students are advised to read the notification properly.
