In an appalling incident that occurred at the national capital, three men were arrested by the Delhi police after they allegedly raped a woman on the pretext of giving her employment. The accused raped the victim at their rented accommodation.
The men have reportedly offered the job of a house help to the victim. Following a complaint made by the victim, they were arrested by the police.
Allegedly, when the victim entered their house, two men were already present in the house. She also alleged that her drink was sedated due to which she lost consciousness. After they raped the victim, she was dropped by them at the metro station. Following this, she had approached the police.
The police stated that when the victim reported the incident, she was not able to recall the accused address but she described the building to them. A team was formed by the police to identify the building. After searching for four to five houses, the accused were found and arrested. They have been booked under the relevant section of the Indian Penal Code.
In a similar incident from Gurugram, a woman was raped by a man who had promised her to give a job. The accused allegedly met the victim in 2014 and had helped her get a job for her sister. Also, the accused escaped the spot after raping the victim.
