In a tweet on Monday, June 4, Assam Police informed about a bust, congratulating the Dhubri team for the same as the later found 590 kg cannabis/marijuana loaded on a truck, at the Chagolia checkpoint. The team performed the bust on June 3.
“Anyone lost a huge (590 kgs) amount of Cannabis/Ganja and a truck in and around Chagolia Checkpoint last night? Don’t panic, we found it,” the Assam Police twitter handle said.” It further requested them to “get in touch with Dhubri Police” to receive help.
The post, which was made on June 4, 2019, has since garnered nearly 10,000 likes and has been retweeted more than 3.8K times.
