Grammy Award-winning pop singer Ed Sheeran officially declared that he is going to sing when he makes his debut on everyone’s favourite series– Game of Thrones. In an interview with The Hits Radio, Sheeran gave details about his 5-minute cameo on the fantasy series.

“I do a scene with Maisie (Williams). I sing a song and then she goes, ‘oh, that’s a nice song’,” Sheeran said.

This comes soon after the announcement which made it official that he had made a cameo appearance for the series as a surprise for actress Williams.

Notably, fans are desperately waiting for the seventh season of the popular fantasy drama series “Game of Thrones” which is to be premiered on July 16. The final season will most likely air in 2018.

Earlier this year, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss confirmed Sheeran will make a cameo, as Williams is a big fan of the singer-songwriter. Notably, Sheeran isn’t the first musician to appear in Game of Thrones, as Coldplay’s Will Champion, Animal Circus’s Joel Fry, and members of metal band Mastodon also had cameos in previous seasons.
