Amidst coronavirus lockdown that has caused a lot of stir in India, many fast-paced decisions were taken by one state after another of implementing lockdown. On Tuesday the Union decides to shut down the nation for 21 days.

PM Narendra Modi televised a nationwide addressing a permanent lockdown of India for 21 days to fight COVID-19 on Tuesday during midnight time.

With coronavirus cases increasing every minute he has requested everyone to keep calm and follow the centre’s orders and join hands with everyone in putting up a good fight against COVID-19.

Amidst so much information a lot of fake news has also surfaced about How the Govt will be unable to pay salaries to Govt employees and might also find difficult to pay pensions.

The Press Information Bureau handle on Twitter has busted such fake news and further stated on Twitter that no one should be spreading fake news and all the employees of the public sector, as well as retired pensioners, will receive their salary on time.

The PIB handle also further states, “Beware of #Fake messages sweeping across social media on #Coronavirus. Let’s stay home to #StopTheSpreadOfCorona; observe #21DaysLockdown and stop spread of #FakeNews!”
