The Central Government’s nodal agency Press Information Bureau, PIB stated that the RRB NTPC 2019 exam, starting from December 15, cancellation notice by a newspaper as fake. PIB clarified that exams will be held as announced earlier for RRB NTPC 2019 and RRB Group D Level 1.
The agency added that the Railway Ministry has not yet made any such decisions.

On September 5, RRB Chairman Vinod Dua had announced the RRB exam dates. Railway Ministry Piyush Goyal had also announced the same on his social media handle by retweeting the announcement made by RRB Chairman on the same day.
RRB NTPC 2019 exam will be held to recruit candidates for a total of 35277 posts in the organization. The Board took almost 1.5 years to release the examination date. The application form for the same was published on February 28, 2019, and the application process began on March 1, 2019. The deadline to apply was till March 31, 2019.
Over 1.5 crore candidates have registered for the exam however, the Railway Board will hold Computer Based Test or CBT for the RRB NTPC and RRB Group D Level 1 examination. The complete schedule has not been released by the Board yet. It is likely that the Board might release the schedule by November 2020.
The application status link for RRB NTPC 2019 that was activated from September 21 was closed down on September 30, 2020. The Railway Board has informed the candidates whose applications have been rejected via SMS and Email to the registered mobile number and mail id respectively.
