Fatuha Assembly Constituency 2025: The Fatuha Assembly constituency also known as AC-185 is located in the Patna district of Bihar. It covers the Fatuha and Sampatchak blocks besides few gram panchayats like- Marchi, Mahuli, Fatehpur, Sonwan, Punadih, and Sabalpur.
This semi-urban area is a part of the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency and is mainly known for its large Yadav, Koeri, Muslim, and Scheduled Caste (SC) population. These demographic factors have contributed immensely to the RJD’s popularity that has very well managed to rally the support of these communities. Matters like improper drainage systems, bad road infrastructure, unemployment, and the late arrival of benefits from welfare schemes continue to be the main issues of the voters here.
In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Dr. Ramanand Yadav of the RJD won in Fatuha with a huge margin of 19,370 votes over Satyendra Kumar Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Dr. Yadav got 85,769 votes which were 50.87% of the total votes, whereas Singh got 66,399 votes i.e., 39.38% of the vote share.
Fatuha Assembly constituency has persistently voted in favor of Dr. Ramanand Yadav of the RJD in the last three electoral cycles between 2010 and 2020. In the 2010 Bihar Assembly elections, Dr. Yadav bagged 85,769 votes which were 50.87% of the total and comfortably defeated his rivals.
