Former Andhra Pradesh assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao passed away while undergoing treatment at Basavatarakam hospital, Hyderabad. More details are awaited at the moment.
Earlier this morning Kodela attempted suicide in his house. The family members rushed him to Basavatarakam hospital at about 10:45 am.
Police personnel have been deployed large numbers to take care of the situation at the hospital premises.
