Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah tests positive for Covid-19, hospitalised

The Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress’s Siddaramaiah has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Siddaramaiah took to Twitter on Tuesday morning and said that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

“I have been tested positive for Covid19 and also been admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors as a precaution. I request all those who had come in contact with me to check out for symptoms and to quarantine themselves,” Siddaramaiah tweeted.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had on Sunday tested positive for Covid-19.

The chief minister is admitted to the Manipal hospital at the Old Airport Road in Bengaluru.
