Panchkula: A four-year-old girl was raped in her school bus while returning home by the bus driver in the industrial town of Baddi in Panchkula.
The four-year-old studies in a private school in Baddi and lives with her aunt at a village in the Pinjore area of Panchkula district, which lies on the Haryana- Himachal Pradesh border.
The child went to school on Friday and while returning back home, she complained to her aunt about the difficulty she is facing while urinating. After that, the victim told her aunt about the sexual assault she faced on the bus, right after, she was taken to the Panchkula civil hospital and she was admitted over there, police said on Saturday.
The sources of the Hospital had confirmed the sexual assault though the final report of the team of doctors is awaited.
After being informed about the case, the Assistant Commissioner of police Noopur Bishnoi and the Sector 19 crime branch team reached the hospital.
The ACP said that the police team is in Baddi to arrest the bus driver. The police said two drivers operated the bus, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon shift.
