GATE 2020 exam: IIT Delhi has issued an official notification that the GATE 2020 exam will be conducted in 8 sessions. GATE 2020 exam has been scheduled to be held on February 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th, 2020.
As per the notification, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering papers will be held in two sessions each while the other 23 papers will be held in a single session spread over 8 sessions. Also, the GATE Committee has finalized the session scheduling for 25 papers in 8 sessions.
There are a total of 8.6 lakh candidates who have applied for the GATE 2020 exam.
Recently, IIT Delhi has begun the online application form correction window for each subject paper. Candidates can make changes by visiting the official website of GOAPS. Moreover, candidates can practices for their exam by the GATE mock test available on gate.iitd.ac.in.
Candidates who have applied for the GATE 2020 can download the admit card from January 3, 2020.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level engineering entrance examination that is conducted every year by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology.
Candidates who are able to clear the exam get admission in M.E / M.Tech / M.Arch / Ph.D courses.
