GATE 2025 Result Live: Results Declared, Toppers List and Cutoff Marks

GATE 2025 exam result: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 results today, March 19. Students who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. To view their scores, candidates need to log in using their credentials. Once logged in, they can also download their scorecards for future use.

Earlier, students had the chance to raise objections to the provisional answer key. This window was open from February 27 to March 1. After reviewing the objections, subject experts made necessary changes to the answer key before releasing the final version.

GATE 2025 exam

The GATE 2025 exam was held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in two shifts daily, covering 30 subjects. GATE, or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is a major national-level exam testing knowledge in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities.

The exam is organized by the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru and seven IITs, Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee. These institutions work together under the National Coordination Board GATE, which operates under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

It’s important to understand that the GATE score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. The score reflects a student’s performance relative to others who took the exam.
