Gold And Silver Prices Today On May 10: On Friday, May 10, 2024, both gold and silver prices increased on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
The futures contract for gold maturing on June 5, 2024 traded at Rs 72,094 per 10 grams on the MCX, up Rs 455 or 0.64 percent from the previous close of Rs 71,639.
In the meantime, silver futures maturing on July 5, 2024, increased by Rs 486 or 0.58 percent and were trading at Rs 84,985 per kg on the MCX, up from Rs 84,499 previously.

Reuters reports that gold prices firmed on Friday, poised for their best week since April 5, following recent economic data that boosted the odds of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates.
In the latest metal report, spot gold was up 0.2 percent at $2,350.87 per ounce by 0212 GMT, while U.S. gold futures gained 0.7 percent to $2,356.90.
Spot silver rose 0.2% to $28.38 per ounce, among other precious metals.
