Gold Rate Today 17 June: Gold became a bit cheaper across major Indian cities on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The latest market update said the fall was small and came after a mild drop in domestic bullion rates. The report also covered the latest 24k, 22k, 20k, 18k and 14k prices from IBJA and from top jewellery brands.
Prithviraj Kothari, who is managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd. and president of the India Bullion and Jewellers Association, said, “Gold holds above $4,300 and silver above $70.” He added that traders are watching a possible US-Iran peace deal, lower chances of a December Fed rate hike, and more buying by central banks. In simple words, gold is still strong, but world news is helping decide how far it can go next.
