Since last night #Gurugram is trending on Twitter. And it is not related to the name change of ‘Gurgaon’ to ‘Gurugram’. The natives are venting out their anger on the micro blogging website after being stuck in jam for hours.
A number of images of water logged roads and traffic jam surfaced on the internet. People, who commute daily from Delhi to Gurugram had to bear the brunt of governments failure. The Twitterati criticised the government, who failed to have a proper water drainage system.
Gurgaon’s traffic police has asked the commuters to refrain from travelling from Delhi to Gurgaon to avoid being stuck.
