A 35-year-old IndiGo Airlines employee, identified as Mausami Gautam, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at a guest house in Gurugram’s Sushant Lok on Thursday night.
The deceased hailing from Assam, was working with the airlines’ security wing. She Mausami was married and had an eight-year-old daughter. Mausami was in the city for a three-day training session and was supposed to return home on Friday.
Yesterday, when the guest house staff knocked at the door, there was no response, following which they informed the police. The police officers rushed to the spot and broke the door and found her hanging with the ceiling fan using a dupatta.
According to a police officer, no suicide note has been found. The officials further stated that the investigation is underway and any claims could be made only after the post-mortem reports come, adding that the post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday once her family members arrive.
