The IMD has warned of isolated heavy rainfall over this region during August 16 as part of the active monsoon spell.
Haryana may also see cloudy weather with rain in some places. Thunderstorms are possible in isolated areas. The state is among the regions where the IMD has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated locations during this period.
Rajasthan is expected to have a mix of cloudy conditions and local showers. Rainfall may stay isolated in several areas. The situation is different from some northern states as the latest warning does not point to widespread heavy rain across the entire state on August 16.
Gujarat may remain cloudy with rain and thunderstorms in some places. Localised heavy rainfall is possible in the Gujarat region. Lightning may also occur during thunderstorms.

Himachal Pradesh may experience cloudy skies and spells of rain on August 16. The IMD has forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall in the state during August 15 to 20. Isolated heavy rain is also expected during August 15 and 16.
Punjab can see partly cloudy weather with rain or thunderstorms in some areas. While rainfall may not be heavy everywhere, the state remains under an active monsoon pattern and the IMD has forecast isolated heavy rain during August 13 to 19.
Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain cloudy with periods of rain. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds may also affect some areas. The IMD has forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Jammu and Kashmir during August 15 to 20, with isolated heavy rain possible from August 16 to 19.
