Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor finally confirmed that she is dating Shikhar Pahariya. The actress also revealed when she sees herself tying the knot.
When the host of the show Karan Johar asked her directly if she was dating Shikhar, she said: “Yeah I am”. Adding that while she wanted to keep her private, she no longer felt the need to hide it. “I always thought about why everyone is so cagey about it. Obviously I don’t want nazar, and I don’t want to be overly explicit about what’s happening in my personal life. I just think it’s overrated to be like ‘let no one ever know’. So it’s kind of boring to tiptoe around it, and it’s not a big deal.”
Karan Johar also asked Janhvi about her wedding plans. She made it clear that it will not be happening soon adding: “Not for another 2-3 years for sure.”
This has caused some buzz as previously there have been reports and rumours that the couple are tying the knot. However, Janhvi has not confirmed any wedding date or formal plans.
In one of the most personal moments of the episode, Janhvi spoke about how Shikhar supported her after her mothers passing.
She revealed that Shikhar was in London studying but decided to take time out of his studies to come back to Mumbai. She later found out that Shikhar had left his fathers home and moved into a friends house in Juhu for around a month to be close.
They were not necessarily seeing each other everyday but it made a lasting impression.

Janhvi and Shikhar have been linked for many years and they often cause a stir when they are seen attending family events, religious events and public events.
In 2023 Janhvi appeared on Koffee With Karan Season 8 and hinted at how close they are. She mentioned that Shiku is one of the people on her speed dial. She has also mentioned in previous interviews how long Shikhar has been a part of her life.
However, this latest appearance shows a huge change as she confirmed they are dating.
Shikhar Pahariya is an entrepreneur, polo player. He is also the brother of Veer Pahariya and the grandson of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Sushilkumar Shinde.
Throughout the episode Janhvi and Varun spoke about their personal lives, careers and past arguments with Karan.
Varun spoke about how he had a falling out with Karan where he stopped talking to him. This was due to an argument over the release date of a film. Karan admitted that things got heated when Varun went to confront him. They eventually reconciled.
