JNU Admission 2025: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has finally started the admission process for its postgraduate courses for the 2025 academic year. Students who cleared the CUET PG 2025 exam now have to register on JNU’s official admission website which is jnuee.jnu.ac.in. Just clearing the CUET PG is not enough they also have to apply separately on this JNU portal. The last date to apply is June 16 and the application window will stay open till 11:50 PM that day, so students still have some time to register if they haven’t already.
The admission process is for a wide range of courses including regular PG courses and also something called Advanced Diploma of Proficiency (ADOP) programs. After this, JNU will release the first merit list on June 27. Once the list comes out, the selected students will have to complete pre-enrolment and also pay the admission fees to confirm their seat.

All students who want to study MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, and MTech (except two branches), PG Diplomas and ADOP courses will get admission based on how they performed in the CUET PG exam. So, if someone is aiming for these programs, their CUET PG score is the key.
JNU’s Academic Council has also decided that the Centre for German Studies will now offer just one MA course in German Studies. This new program will replace the older ones in Literature, Translation, and Interpretation.
However, for courses like MSc Biotechnology and MSc in Computational Biology, students had to appear for the GAT-B exam. So if someone applied for these two programs, their admission will be based on their GAT-B result, not CUET PG.
For MTech in Computer Science and Electronics, students have apply through CCMT counselling. This process uses GATE scores. So if you gave GATE and did well, use CCMT to get in.
