If judiciary wants, powerful can be held accountable: Imran Khan after PM’s disqualification

After Pakistan Supreme Court disqualified, Nawaz Sharif as the Prime Minister, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan on Friday has said that “if the judiciary wants, the powerful can be held accountable. The PTI chief was addressing the media after the ground-breaking verdict.

He also said that today the foundation of Allama Iqbal’s Pakistan has been set.  Khan was one of the three petitioners in the case. He also clarified that he has nothing personal against Sharif.

However, he said that there are two sets of laws in the country, one for the powerful and other for the weak. “What the JIT did in 60 days could not have been done even in the West,” said Khan

He also appreciated the work of the high-profile investigation team.
