Popular Tamil actor Kamal Haasan has no plans to launch a new political party on November 7, his birthday and he clarified the same after speculations were rife that he may make the big announcement.
Haasan, in an article, had written, “I am going to make an announcement on November 7 about a ‘mode’ through which I will communicate with them without any hindrance.”
In the article titled ‘Be Prepared…Will tell all on November 7’ he further added that the ‘mode’ will be not to interact, but will be one of training and workshops that will make plans.
However, he later took to Twitter to clarify that he would not launch a political party on his birthday. “Gathering of fans on November 7 is a yearly tradition. Public announcements will be made in the people’s court,” a DNA report quoted him as saying.
Notably, the actor had tweeted in Tamil.
