Kashmir situation wouldn’t have worsened if Rahul was PM: Solanki

Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Bharat Solanki said that the the situation in Jammu and Kashmir would not have worsened if Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was the Prime Minister.

Solanki slammed the PDP-BJP led coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir for the rise in Pakistan sponsored terror attacks in that state. Attacking PM Modi over Uri terror attack Solanki asked, “Why is PM Modi keeping silent despite the killing of 18 jawans in Uri yesterday?”

The GPCC president expressed the need of having someone ‘courageous’ like Indira Gandhi in this situation. Solanki said that the atmosphere in the state shows good prospect for Congress Party and the young generation is turning towards it.
