Krishnamurthy Subramanian appointed as Chief Economic Advisor

Krishnamurthy Subramanian has been appointed as the new Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) for the period of three years.

A PhD from Chicago-Booth and a top-ranking IIT-IIM alumnus, Krishnamurthy Subramanian is one of the world’s leading experts in banking, corporate governance and economic policy. Subramanian currently teaches at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. In previous academic roles, Subramanian served on the finance faculty at Goizueta Business School at Emory University in the United States.

The post of CEA was lying vacant post the completion of Arvind Subramanian’s tenure in August.
