Lockdown 4.0: GB Nagar DM shares new guidelines; What’s allowed, what’s not allowed

On Monday, 29 Zee News employees were tested positive for the coronavirus. 15 out of 29 people are the residents of Gautam Buddha Nagar. The area has become a containment zone and four housing societies have been sealed.

After sealing four housing societies due to coronavirus in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, the district magistrate of GB Nagar, took to Twitter to share the guidelines, “Dear residents, New guidelines for GB Nagar based on order of Govt of UP. As we move forward, self-regulation is the need of the hour.”

The new guidelines are as follows:

  • No buses connecting Delhi and Noida will run.
  • All businesses can resume outside the containment zone.
  • There shall be no weekly market in the state.
  • The shop closing time should be chosen wisely as no movement of people is allowed after 7 pm.
  • Sweet shops will reopen.
  • Marriage hall will reopen, provided marriage party should have a permission letter, and only 20 people are allowed in marriage.
  • Auto will run. There shall be only two passengers other than the auto driver.
  • Printing Press and dry cleaners will reopen.
  • Park will reopen from 7-10 am and 4-7 pm.
  • Cabs will run expect cabs connecting Delhi to Noida.
  • Only 20 people can attend a funeral.
  • Mask is mandatory while stepping outside the house.
  • Only two passengers other than the driver is allowed in cabs, taxis, and private vehicles. Only one person is allowed on a bike, a woman can sit at back but not without a helmet.
  • Rehdi Patri shops will put their shops.
  • No movement between Noida and Delhi is allowed.
