As the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 dates on Saturday, the voter turnout is expected to be the highest in all general elections.
According to the Election Commission of India, the Lok Sabha Election 2024 will be divided into seven phases. Voting for the first phase will begin on April 19, 2024. Voting will take place on June 4th, 2024.
Through the Lok Sabha Elections, Indians will choose their representatives in the Lower House of Parliament through the Prime Minister.
It should be noted that PM Narendra Modi is contesting Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Varanasi, while Home Minister Amit Shah is contesting from Gandhinagar. Notably, the all-opposition I.N.D.I.A block will be a tough opponent for the BJP-led NDA.
