Congress MLA from Morena district of Madhya Pradesh Banwari Lal Sharma died after battling cancer early on Saturday. He was undergoing treatment in Bhopal for a long time. He was 61.
Banwari Lal Sharma is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter. His last rites will be performed at his ancestral Jaalthap village in Morena district.
For the uninitiated, Congress MLA from Morena district of Madhya Pradesh Banwari Lal Sharma became an MLA from Jaura Assembly seat in Morena district after defeating Bahujan Samaj Party candidate in the assembly elections last year.
