Maggi accused of fraud, Court asks 50K as compensation

Nestle’s famous product Maggi has been found less than the mentioned (printed) weight on the packet during an inspection by the weight measurement department. The test proved the weight of the Maggie to be less than it claims.

Following this, the weight measurement inspector J.N. Maurya accused the company of doing fraud and slammed with a compensation of Rs 50,000. The investigation drive is said to be going on for a while now in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh where the team is weighing the weight of packets and boxes.
