Maharashtra State Board or MSBSHSE has announced the tentative Maharashtra Board result 2020 date for 10th and 12th exams 2020. Maharashtra board released the results for class 10 and class 12 students on its official website at maharesult.nic.in.
The board generally announces the results for HSC or Class 12 in May end, while for SSC or Class 10 in the first two weeks of June every year. However, the results got delayed due to the widespread of the novel coronavirus. Maharashtra HSC 2020 Exams were conducted in March.
According to Hindustan Times, Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that Maharashtra HSC result 2020 will be announced by July 15, while Maharashtra SSC result 2020 will be published by the end of July 2020.
NOTE: The Maharashtra board has cancelled the pending exam of Geography subject which was postponed owing to coronavirus pandemic. In mahresults.nic.in 2020 SSC, students will be awarded average marks for the Geography exam.
The results will be announced on mahresults.nic.in. Students will require their roll numbers and mother’s first name. Steps to check the results are as follows:

What is the difference between verification and re-evaluation?
The re-evaluation of the marks refers to the rechecking process of the answer script, which would include each question and answer. Each of the answers will be critically reviewed and remarked accordingly. However, it is not sure that the marks would be altered after the re-evaluation process, which would be the discretion. On the other hand, verification means recalculating the subject wise and total marks. In the verification process, the cumulative marks are calculated once again to ensure that the total marks obtained mentioned in the final Maharashtra HSC result are accurate.

Candidates have to apply for the Maharashtra HSC result verification process online and submit the filled-in form to the Departmental Secretary, MSBSHSE along with the requisite documents or enclosures. The verification application fee is Rs 50 per subject.
