A statue of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi has allegedly defaced in Talcher area of Odisha’s Angul district on Sunday night days after India celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Bapu.
According to reports, red paint was smeared on the statue located on the premises of Mandapal hospital. A local youth association has lodged a police complaint in this regard.
Odisha Police have started investigation to identify and nab the wrongdoers.
