It has now climbed to the 8th spot in the list of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2026.
The romantic Partition-era movie released on June 12 but failed to attract viewers in the first few days. Nevertheless, the reviews and positive audience word-of-mouth paved the way for the movie’s successful recovery as audiences flocked to cinemas in the weeks that followed.
