While Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar controversy engulfed Bollywood, more women have gather courage to speak up of their #MeToo experiences across the media industry. In a yet another shocking development, a flight attendant on Tuesday alleged that Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya sexually harassed her, ‘almost kissing and nibbling me on my left ear.’

The woman in a Facebook post alleged that the singer grabbed ‘her by her wrist and pulled her closer after she refused to dance with him’. The incident took place in 1998.

Reacting to the sexual harassment allegations, the singer said that he “wasn’t even born at that time” and ugly, fat women have now started coming out to blame people. Dismissing the claims, Bhattacharya said, “Most of the people who are coming out right now are dirty, ugly people. Koi mota hai koi patla hai. No one deserves (the attention). Most of the fat and ugly girls are blaming and I wasn’t born at that time.”

Recently, a noted female writer-producer shared a heart-wrenching account of the alleged sexual assault suffered at the hands of Alok Nath.
