MP’s Computer Baba to deploy 2000 sadhus on river banks to keep check on illegal mining

Namdeo Das Tyagi, a self-proclaimed godman widely known as Computer baba in Madhya Pradesh, has announced that he would deploy 2000 sadhus on the banks of rivers in the state to keep a check on illegal mining.

Computer baba, an Indian Hindu ascetic, is currently chairman of ‘Ma Narmada, Ma Kshipra and Ma Mandaknini River Trust’ in Madhya Pradesh.Namdeo Das Tyagi, a self-proclaimed godman widely known as Computer baba in Madhya Pradesh, has announced that he would deploy 2000 sadhus on the banks of rivers in the state to keep a check on illegal mining.

On a two-day visit to Budelkhand’s Tikamgarh, Panna, and Chattarpur district, Baba visited the banks of Ken river to apprise himself of the illegal sand mining taking place along the water body.

Holding meetings of officials and local MLAs, Tyagi, as quoted in a report of a leading daily, said, “I have 2000 sadhus with me. We will divide them in 4-5 teams and they will be posted at the locations where illegal mining is taking place in Madhya Pradesh.”

He said that the sadhus would render bhajans and cook for themselves and check illegal sand mining.
