National Siamese Cat Day 2023: The sixth of April is the “purrfect” day for cat lovers. National Siamese Cat Day has arrived. This is the day we celebrate these exquisite felines. Siamese cats, also called “Meezers,” are one of the world’s most popular cat breeds. We know you share our admiration for these exquisite animals. How should one best celebrate? Give your cat a few extra pets today.
A cat-lover named Jace Shoemaker-Galloway created the day. She hoped to encourage individuals to adopt these lovely cats from animal shelters. Sadly, over two million animals are euthanized annually in animal shelters.
If you have a pet, buy him or her some new treats and a new toy! Not possessing a cat of your own? Purchase a treat for your neighbor’s cat or deliver a care package to a local animal shelter.
What a fantastic reason to watch online cat videos! Everyone enjoys watching adorable kittens perform bizarre behaviours, and today is the perfect opportunity to do so. Bring up some old favourites or surf the web to discover a new one!

Between the 14th and 18th centuries, there are depictions of Siamese cats.
In the late 1870s, a Thai diplomat presented Lucy Hayes, the wife of President Rutherford B. Hayes, with a Siamese cat named Siam.
Originally, Siamese cats had crossed eyes and kinked tails, but these characteristics were eliminated through selective breeding.
Male Siamese typically weigh between 11 and 15 pounds, while females weigh between 8 and 12 pounds on average.
In films such as “The Incredible Journey” and “Lady and the Tramp,” Siamese cats have appeared.
