Veteran actor and now politician Jaya Bachchan is celebrating her 73rd birthday today. She was counted amongst one of the best actors during her time.
Her debut in the film industry happened with Satyajit Ray’s Bengali film Mahanagar when she was only 15-years-old. As an adult, her first role was in the 19701-film Guddi which also starred Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance. After that, she went on to become one of the most sought-after actresses of that time.
While Jaya has been applauded for her acting skills for decades now, she has often been criticised for her ‘rude’ and ‘arrogant’ behaviour with paparazzi and her fans multiple times. On her 73rd birthday today, the actor-turned-politician is being slammed by netizens for such attitude.
#JayaBachchan has dominated Twitter today with the tweets talking about her incivility. A video of her from a political rally is also doing rounds on the microblogging site where she can be seen pushing a man who tried to click a quick selfie with the actor.
