New Casio MTP-B185 Watch: Casio has expanded its US watch lineup with four fresh square watches, mixing a retro-ish vibe with a slim stainless steel build. The new MTP-B185 series brings that vintage shaped look right into Casio’s standard range and they start at about $100 in the US.

In the lineup, there are three stainless steel options: MTP-B185D-2A1V, MTP-B185D-2A2V and MTP-B185D-7AV, priced at $100 apiece. Then there’s a fourth one, the MTP-B185G-9AV which goes with a gold tone finish and sits at $120. Casio also had the watches tagged as June 2026 releases on its US website.

Casio MTP-B185: What’s New?

The MTP-B185 series takes inspiration from classic square watches while giving the design a cleaner contemporary finish.

All four models use a 40 × 32.5 × 7.3 mm case, making them noticeably slimmer than many conventional watches. The watches weigh approximately 80 grams and feature a stainless-steel bracelet with an adjustable clasp.

Four Models

Casio is offering the new series in four variants.

The three silver-tone versions include:

  • MTP-B185D-2A1V: Navy dial
  • MTP-B185D-2A2V: Light-blue dial
  • MTP-B185D-7AV: Silver dial

The fourth model, MTP-B185G-9AV, comes with a gold-tone treatment across the case and bracelet for a more dress-oriented appearance.

Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet

One of the biggest attractions of the new Casio watch is honestly its metal build, it feels sturdier than expected. The MTP-B185 versions have a stainless-steel case and a stainless-steel bracelet too. Meanwhile the gold-tone MTP-B185G-9AV goes with a gold ion-plated finish on top of that stainless-steel construction, so it looks more warm but still solid.

The watches also feature mineral glass and are rated for 50-metre water resistance, adding practical durability for everyday use.

Simple Three-Hand Display

Casio has kept the dial deliberately uncluttered. The MTP-B185 uses a traditional three-hand analogue display with index markers and a date window. There are no additional sub-dials, keeping the overall appearance clean and close to the minimalist dress-watch aesthetic.
